Renovation Process
WHC not only focuses on new home construction, but we also perform renovations and remodels. We will develop a scope of work first during the initial work through, then we are able to identify the process and provide a preliminary quote for construction. We will provide realistic numbers or allowances to ensure that the price is not far off from the final agreement price. Like in most construction processes, price can ultimately be driven by customer selections which in turn will affect the overall price.
Depending on the scope of the project, WHC will want to have tradesmen and engineers come into the house- view the project and scope of work. Once completed, we can go back to our preliminary price and adjust based on our trades and engineers to properly price the scope of work.
After that we will provide a construction agreement and deposit to get the project started. Deposit will go towards the overall price of the project. The deposit goes towards purchasing supplies that require lead times, and assembling the team to get started.
